The Tumi Filbert T-Pass briefcase is among the premiere offerings within their Presidio Collection, and it offers business travelers both style along with functionality.  The Filbert T-Pass is an expandable carrier which meets current TSA checkpoint standards allowing your bag to go through the scanner without having to remove your laptop.  This bags accommodates a laptop with up to a 15 inch screen, and it contains features including a front zipped pocket, an umbrella pocket and an adjustable (and removable) shoulder strap.  This bag is offered only in a black color, but other Tumi models can be found in additional colors.

Inside the bag is a laptop compartment (with foam inserts to accommodate smaller laptops), a removable accessory pouch, file dividers, a pocket designed to hold media devices, a zip pocket and several pen loops.  All Tumi products are known for their rigid and durable construction — which is especially important when the bag is designed to house fragile electronics.  As laptop organizers go, the Tumi Filbert T-Pass is not cheap — it runs between $250 and $325 depending upon where it is purchase.  However, the superior construction along with sharp looks makes this a reasonable expense for this important accessory of all business travelers.  There might be cheaper laptop organizers out there, but saving a few dollars and ending up with a product which falls apart under the typical stresses of business travel (or subjects your laptop to potential damage) is being penny-wise and Pound-foolish.
